The wage for this role is $60.00/hr

Your tasks at a glance
- You prioritize patient care and safety by monitoring patients while they are still under the effects of anesthesia.
- You are responsible for connecting the patient to devices such as monitoring equipment, and to intravenous therapy for fluids and pain medication (observation & pain intervention as necessary).
- You support the organization’s Risk Management program by identifying and promptly reporting patient safety concerns, incidents, or potential risks to clinic management, to assist in the organization’s overall efforts to identify, report, and mitigate risks.
- You rigorously carry out all the administrative tasks associated with the position and any other tasks requested by management (complete notes on the charts, communicate information in writing or orally, and complete any form required by the establishment).
A clear view of your assets
- Requirements:
- Registered Nurse and a member in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP);
- Critical Care certification;
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
- Your experience in the field of ophthalmology and/or optometry is considered an asset.
- You have a definite interest in the field of health and high-tech devices.
- You find it easy to get in touch with others and quickly establish a climate of trust.
- You are meticulous, precise, rigorous, patient and focused, no detail can escape you.
- You thrive in a dynamic environment and when working in a team.
